Mental Diet vs Affirming- Law of Assumption

When I first started manifesting with the Law of Assumption, I thought "Gee this is gonna be a piece of cake! All I have to do is affirm for my desire and I'm going to get everything I want and it's gonna be GREAT!" I don't know if a lot of people think that way in the beginning, but that was definitely my mindset coming into this.

Then I started actually going to work affirming everyday, speaking life into my desires, repeating the sentences that represented what I wanted to see happen in my real life. At first I struggled with being consistent. I also struggled sticking to the same affirmations all the time which they tell you is really important to staying consistent.

Finding time to affirm isn't always easy when you work full time and then have to balance cleaning time, family time and rest time on the weekends. After a while, I got the hang of it though. If me and my family go to a restaurant on the weekend, on the way to and from the restaurant I would affirm. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is affirm before I get my day started. I used a counter app to count my affirmations to motivate me to keep going because I could see the progress in the number of affirmations I was able to say. I did the 10k affirmation challenge and saw progress in my affirmation 'I love my job' being shown to me on the back of a t-shirt at a restaurant, which was thrilling because I could see it working.

But after a time, I noticed I hit a plateau--I didn't notice anymore signs that I was progressing with my goals, even though I was affirming plenty of the time. I affirmed when I go to work in the morning, when I come home from work, throughout the day but still I wasn't seeing movement. Sooo.. I went back into the archives of my Youtube education on the law of assumption to find out what I was doing wrong. And what I found that changed my perspective was mental diets

You don't only need to keep your affirmations/desires on your mind while you're affirming, but ALL the time you need to think like you have what you want or at the very least NOT think against your desire. To me, mental diets was just as important if not more important than affirming because it's all about what you're thinking all the time that makes a major difference with your manifestations. Think about it: what you're thinking all the time are all affirmations. I currently need to work on my mental diet to get my manifestation game straight and manifest in weeks or even days like a lot of the manifestation community talks about is the reality for them because they understand the law.

To be focused on both the demands of your physical reality and your inner reality of where you want to be at is a special skill that, to me, makes you superhuman. But it's necessary to create the life you truly desire and let go of the limiting mindsets that hold you back.

My current affirmations that I'm going to stick to:

1. I'm so rich

2.I manifest quickly and easily

3. My family life is perfect

(Only three because I have a hard time focusing on any more than that at one time 😂)
