getting to work visualization
I dropped off my son, Isaiah in the parking lot of his school, where there are many cars clamoring to get in and out. I told him 'I love you' and to 'have a good day'. He's in a good mood because I took him to the corner store before we arrived. He waves goodbye. I smile to myself as I exit from the driveway immediately, because as usual there is no traffic when I pull out.
I can't wait to get to work and get started on my files, and start answering the phones. I love getting to work 1 hour early and getting a head start on letting applicants know they are at the top of the waiting list. I love talking to the girls in accounting and actually everyone in the office. My boss, while she normally only comes to the office a couple days a week, is super understanding. She is a powerful independent woman, as the only Director of the company, but she's also the mother to 4 children. As I drive, I belt out my affirmations because it feels better for my spirit than listening to the radio.
I pull up downtown San Jose to the parking garage with a full tank of gas.
I can't wait to get out of the car as I'm parking my black SUV truck. I want to jump right out and get to my office desk. I get out of the car with a forward lean and take a second to admire my white billowy top and sleek black trousers before I go and press the arrow elevator button. I go up in the elevator, admiring the ceiling to floor windows which overlook the open concourse that looks like a shopping mall. I get to the top floor, where my office is located. tapping the green railings as I go. I see the door to my job and, getting a flutter of excitement, reach for the knob. I am a natural at my job and I think soon I'll be getting a promotion. I can't wait to get my day started. I love every day working for this company that gives me the opportunity for growth and self-improvement.
