The Law of Attraction Spectrum
I recently declared quite dramatically that I am no longer a law of attraction follower but that I now ascribe to the law of assumption. The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes . Law of attraction gurus like Abraham Hicks put a big emphasis on changing your vibration (state of being, mood or how you feel) to attract the things you want. The idea is that like attracts like and a high vibration state in theory will produce a high vibration life. Law of attraction-ers usually do a lot of meditation and positive aspects, where you notice the positive aspects of your situation. When I practiced LOA, I found it difficult to get in a high vibrational place while dealing with everyday stressors like work or running errands.
