Important Announcement!

 Hi Y'all,

This has been a long time coming but I wanted to share the news here first before anywhere else. 

I am officially releasing the first edition of my book to the public on Amazon.


If you've followed me for a while, you'd know that I've been working on this project for over about 2 years, and it's a long time coming.


After many iterations, edits, beta reads, and "gentle, loving" constructive criticisms from friends and family, I think I am fully ready to release my work to the public.


I wanted my work to be perfection- No grammatical errors, plot whole, symbolism on point, and all that. Professional editing and a bonafide editor just like Carrie in Sex and the City.

I wanted to do book readings at local book stores and people to come up to me in public and gush over my book, requesting an autograph sheepishly. And only occasionally, as my audience is women 18-25 who read books.

But then life kicked in and my schedule taking care of home left not that much room for the tasks needed for all of that. If I wanted to I believe I could, but y'all... Let me tell you

I go to bed all the way wiped out from everything I've done during the day. I'm an accountant, child care, short-order chef, housekeeper, just to name a few of the hats I wear.

And that's what I love to do, I feel like that's my calling and I am satisfied in fulfilling my role.

Writing comes second to taking care of my home but also happens at the same time because I'm always thinking. Lately, I been liking writing down short songs and making small art projects with pastels, colored pencils, and paint. 

I said all that to say, I am really excited to launch my book out into the public and get some feedback. It isn't perfect by any stretch but it is imperfectly perfect as my 1st project to date.

Still working out the kinks, so bear with me--

 I recently had an experience that shed some light on the whole let go/don't let go debate in the manifestation community. Me and my husband took off last Friday to go to the casino for his birthday weekend. It was spur of the moment, so he didn't even tell me he wanted to go until the day before. Since I already had the day off I said fine, let's go.  Normally when we go to a casino or Vegas or whatever, I hella hype myself up for the gambling portion of the trip. I say things like 'I'm the lucky winner of $X' 'I'm going to win the jackpot' and 'Every time I play, I win'. Affirmations + Angel Numbers- Progress Right Now

So the first thing that comes to mind is 111. Basically I've been seeing this number consistently since I started my manifestation journey using the Law of Assumption. On the microwave. On the clock. The number of likes someone got on a Facebook post. I see it on the amount of calories on juice at Costco. On my receipt for groceries--literally anywhere and EVERYwhere.  It's something silly that I'm proud to have manifested because I know I did it deliberately. Sometimes, when I microwave a snack, I DELIBERATELY put it to 1:11 just for funsies. Needless to say, 111 is really easy to notice on accident but also especially on purpose.  That's what I felt like I was missing with manifesting physical things or situations. The ability to notice representations of my desires on purpose. During the week, I am typically really busy with work and it doesn't occur to me to think about my desires for two reasons. Your Greatest Distraction from Manifestation

 Have you ever complained that there's not enough time in the day to get everything you want to get done accomplished? Between work and chores and getting your obligatory 8 hours of rest in every night (in theory), there's not enough time to manifest your heart's desire? Well, I'm here to tell you that, for 90% of everyone you know, that not having enough time thing is totally bogus. Where is all the time going, you ask. What could possibly be sucking the life out of our schedule so drastically? Hint: It's not your work or school routine. Big shocker, it's technology.  Here's a great exercise to try out: go on your phone and go to Settings. Scroll down until you see 'screen time' or 'digital wellbeing' (for android users). It will show you a bar graph of your cell phone usage and what apps you use and how long you use them. I was quite frankly shocked at how many hours a day I use my phone. My average is still over 4 hours total to this day.
