A note about the editing process post 1
So, as you know, not that long ago, I finished writing my book :) And, after you write your book, and let it rest for a while, the next step is editing. Most of the time, editing hasn't been my favorite part in the creative process. Through school, as a literature major, I often sought the help of a tutor or one of my friends to make it easier on myself. However, I am starting to think about editing differently. I mean, it is necessary, and sometimes re-writing can be fun. I like the idea of cutting out parts that don't work. And I set a deadline for myself because that's just how I do. January 2019... Then my book will be finished. *sigh* I'm still not done reading through it all the way yet. What has become abundantly clear is that I wrote too many words! Uggh...
